After Each Use
Clean and dry your Dutch oven after cooking. While still warm, lightly coat the inside with a thin layer of cooking oil to maintain the seasoning.
Rust Prevention & Removal
Moisture causes rust in cast iron. Always dry thoroughly after washing. If rust appears: (1) Scrub off rust with a stiff brush (2) Wash with dish soap if needed (3) Dry completely (4) Apply a thin coat of cooking oil (5) Bake at 356°F for 1 hour.
